She married Lawson Alexander on 27 May 1862 at the home of her parents, by Rev. Dr. F. A. Rupley of Christ Reformed Church. She died in Middletown, Maryland at home and was buried on 18 Apr 1914.

Mrs. Catherine Anderson, of Middletown, died at her home in Middletown, April 15, aged 88 years, 5 months, and 19 days. Death was due to general debility. She was the widow of Lawson Alexander, and had lived in Middle town for many years.
