Anna married Jarriet about 1945 in her hometown. The couple met while Jarriet was stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama during World War II. After the war, the couple moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Their family included two daughters and a son.
Aside from rearing her family, Anna Pearl love for children extended to the community, where she was the director of a day care facility at her church, Mount Mariah Baptist. She was committed to her faith and church. She worked throughout the church and was a trustee. Her name appears on the corner stone of the then newly built church building. Anna Pearl died on November 8, 1979.
