Margie K. Britton, 76, of Monticello died at 7 pm, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.

She was born March 11, 1936 in Gary to the late John T. and Margie Venita (Spencer) Hann.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Monticello and had worked as an administrative secretary for Arizona State OSHA until her retirement.

She is survived by a daughter, Kim (Ron) Amor of Walkerton, Indiana; son, Bret Britton of Lebanon, Tennessee; sister, Gloria (Bill) Eichelburg of Valparaiso, Indiana; four grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by sisters, Fran Qualkenbush and Lu Bruckman.

A graveside memorial service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, March 2, at Bedford Cemetery, with Pastor Blake Hall of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Monticello or to the White County Food Pantry.
