Occupation: Marshal from Dalles City (The Dalles), Wasco County, Oregon. Murdered by soldiers - William McIntyre per the attached story and by Frank E. McKinley memorial #55575716 - see his memorial.

"It says Charles Keeler was originally buried in The Dalles Pioneer Cemetery which still exists. City purchased the monument for the grave. His widow married Charles' best friend, Frederick Wickman. Years later the grave and monument were moved by the Wickman Family to the Wickman Family plot at IOOF Cemetery. Info was taken from a book on Pioneer Cemetery."
