Notes on Arrington Wickliffe:
•*A History of Muhlenberg County Kentucky by Otto A. Rothert states, "…Arington and Robert Wickliffe were sons of John Wickliffe of Prince William County, Virginia. They settled in Muhlenberg about 1800…Arington…was an officer in the Revolutionary army…In the winter of 1819-20 he rode to his old home in Virginia on horseback and returned a few weeks later; he died as a result of the exposure in March, 1820" (page 22).
•Arrington's will (Muhlenberg Will Book 2 Pages 139-140) states that he had ten children.

•Muhlenberg Court Order Book 4. Page 250 - 31 October 1836. William Wickliffe was appointed administrator of the estate of Catherine Wickliffe.

Note on Isaac Wickliffe:
•Muhlenberg Deed Book 9 Page 6 - 30 June 1837. Isaac Wickliffe, heir of Arington Wickliffe, and Sally his wife of Fayette Co., Indiana, sold to William Wickliffe all interest in 400 acres on Cypress Creek

•Muhlenberg Will Book 3 Pages 34-35: will written 17 February 1839; recorded September 1839
