Service for Reva G. Barnhart, 87, was held Wednesday at Creston, WA Christian Church. Burial was at Creston Cemetery. Strate Funeral Home in Wilbur, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnhart died March 27 in Redondo Beach, Calif., where she had been for the last five years.
She was born in Wisconsin and graduated from Cheney Normal School. She taught in Entiat, Wash., and later moved to Creston, Wash., with her husband, Lloyd Barnhart. He preceded her in death.
She was active in the Creston River Club, Creston Christian Church Women's Fellowship and helped build many of the Creston-Lincoln Community floats.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Barnhart of Redondo Beach; one son, Morris Barnhart of Nevada; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Creston Civic Club or Creston Community Church.
