Janet E. Bristow, 62, of Greenwood, passed away February 27, 2013. She was born May 13, 1950, in Indianapolis to George Elmer and Madelyn (Miller) Fruits.

Janet was a 1968 graduate of George Washington High School. She attended Georgia Tech and received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University.

Janet married Rev. Donald Lee Bristow, June 24, 1978, and was employed as a paralegal for Johnson, Smith and Pence Attorneys for 12 years, and then Ice Miller & Associates for 12 years.

She was a past member of Restoration Church, Church of Acts and Triumph Church, and a current member of Thy Kingdom Come Ministries.

Janet is survived by her loving husband of nearly 35 years, Rev. Donald L. Bristow; sons, Brent Richard Purdum (Leslie) and Donald Bradley Bristow (Denice); grandchildren, Christian, Jonathan, Shayna, Claire and Sarah; mother, Madelyn Fruits; sisters, Linda Adams (Roger), Kathy Eck and Cheryl Pullum (Frank).
