Christened Joseph Edwin Lyle Donnelly but always called Ed or Edwin. He was given the names Edwin Lyle after the Donnelly's family Doctor, Edwin Lyall Brown from Aultsville, Ontario. Doctor Brown continued to treat the family even after retirement. A very kind man he was.
