A son of Elias Best "Eli" Ramsey 1844 – 1881 and Harriet Louder. He married Anna Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ogle (the daughter of Elias Ogle and Amelia Rollison) on March 3, 1887, at Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
