HUNTERSVILLE ~ Josephine Brittain Michael Arnold, 86, passed away peacefully on Feb. 27, 2013, at Olde Knox Commons
Assisted Living Center, Huntersville.
She was born Aug. 11, 1926, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Preston and Lilly Johnson Brittain.
Josephine graduated from Belmont High School and later retired from Sodyeco. She was a member of United Baptist Church,
Gastonia.
Entombment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph, Giles, Ira, Lewis and Earl Brittain; two grandchildren, Shannon and Kurt Rhyne.
Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia is serving the Arnold family.
