Claire was born in Nashua, NH. Dec 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Beauregarde) Lagasse. She was the widow of the late Norman E. Blais who passed away in 1982.
Claire graduasted as Valedictorian from St. Aloysius High School in 1940. After raising her family she earned a certificate in early childhood Education and was employed as a Kindergarten teacher.
Claire was pre-deceased by her brother, Leon Victor Lagasse, her sister, Camille(Lagasse) Desclos; two sons, Norbert Blais and Gerard Blais; a grahnddaughter, Malissa Blais, and a grandson, Jeffrey Waye.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Waye and her husband Omer of Nashua; Elaine Dionne and her husband Normand of Chichester,NH; Christine McGuire and her husband William of Salisbury, Mass; three sons, Daniel Blais and his wife, Laurie of Nashua; David Blais of Occidental,CA.; Mark Blais and his special friend Patricia Gentry of Lenoir, NC;
14 grandchildren: Donna Walton, Cynthia Waterstrat and her husband Steven; Jason Waye & his wife Jayme; Kenneth Dionne & his wife, Cheryl; Andre Dionne & his wife Maryse; Mattthew Dionne & his wife Reagan; David C. Services from Anctil-Rochette Funeral Home, Nashua, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, West Hollis St., Nashua,(not far from her childhood home). Burial in St. Louis de Gonzague Cemetery.
