Francisca Galindo Acosta, 84, was called to our Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2012. Rosary was recited on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Deacon Rueben Reyes officiating. Holy burial followed the mass in the Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.

Mrs. Acosta was born on June 4, 1927 in Boquilla San Isidro, Mexico to Paula Amador and Trinidad Galindo. Francisca was a lifelong resident of Fort Stockton and a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Francisca was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, whom will be greatly missed but will remain forever in our hearts.

Francisca is preceded in death by her husband, Eulalio Acosta; parents Trinidad and Paula Galindo; daughter, Chelo Acosta; son Juan Acosta; three sisters, Virginia Adame, Eloisa Benavides and Dorothea Lujan. Survivors include her six sons, Efrain Acosta, Adan Acosta, Eulalio Acosta, Lucas Acosta, Angel Acosta and Beto Galindo all of Fort Stockton, Texas; five daughters, Gloria Gamboa, Consuelo Madrid, Elsa Benavides and Delma Sanchez all of Fort Stockton, Texas and Irma Marquez of Freeport, Texas; one brother Angel Galindo of Fort Stockton, Texas; one sister Guadalupe Lujan of Boquilla San Isidro, Mexico. 38 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren;13 great great grandchildren; and many friends.
