Hilda was born October 18, 1920 at home in Brock where she grew up. On December 22, 1938 she married the love of her life, Homer Anderson. Hilda worked at many jobs during her life, however, her greatest joy was loving and serving her family. She was an active member of Brock Baptist Church as long as her health allowed. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Homer Anderson; and great-granddaughter, Mandi McWhorter.
Survivors include, daughters, Ila McWhorter and husband, Gordon, Peggy Phillips and husband, Jack; son, Jerry Anderson; grandchildren, Doug McWhorter and wife, Sharon, Roland McWhorter, Robbie Watson, Jason Phillips and wife, Lewana, Paige Appel and husband, Kevin, Brock Anderson; several great-grandchildren; sister, Veta Winbun; and many nieces and nephews.
