After Martin died Anne lived with her children at 804 Monroe Street for many years in the 1890s and early 1900s.She lived at a Woman's Home for her last 13 years and was a member of the Madison Avenue Methodist Episcopal (M.E.) Church. Anna died in 1937 at the age of 79. She was survived by four daughters, one son, one brother Abraham Robertson from Perth, Ontario, 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Johnston Mrs. Annie Belle Johnston, 78, died Sunday at the Woman's home where she has resided for the past 13 years. Born Dec. 25, 1858, in Perth, Ont., she had been a resident of Bay City for the past 58 years. She was a member of the Madison Avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Martin, Mrs. L.J. Warren, and Mrs. E. Weaver all of Bay City and Mrs. Robert Landis of Flint; one son Edgar Nelson Johnston of Manistee, a brother Abraham Robertson of Perth, Ont., 31 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin, 1834 Woodside Avenue with the Rev. Alfred P. Landon, officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery.
