Phillip "Phil" Wesley Bohannon, 50, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (formerly of the Silver Valley), passed away June 13, 2011 at the family home in Coeur d'Alene. He was born Jan. 20, 1961 in Lebanon, Ore.; Phil was the son of Alfred and Vera (Sullivan) Bohannon.

Phil moved to the Silver Valley as a young boy. He attended the Kellogg High School.

Phil married Juanita McCoy on Sept. 22, 1985 in Kellogg, Idaho.

Phil was a proud underground miner for 15 years and had mined at the Lucky Friday Mine of Hecla Mining Company mainly, but had also mined at the Stillwater Mine of Montana, the Newmont Mine of Nevada and other various mines throughout the Untied States. Phil loved mining and was known as a great miner.

Phil attended Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho. He loved and enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. Phil was a very talented musician and he very much enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his brothers, John and Dave.
