Catharine was one of 10 children born to Nancy Fenner and Juball Holladay in southern Ohio in Highland County (just outside of Hillsboro). The family farm had been in the family for multiple generations, and a small portion of it is still own by family today. Catharine died at a young age, 17y2m12d. Attempt was made to obtain an obituary in hopes of learning more about this young lady, but thus far nothing more has been found.
The family cemetery once surrounded by a fence and gate is in rather sad shape, pretty heavily wooded on a hill. Stones are difficult to read. Am hopeful a return trip during months with less folliage will produce a bit more.
