Wylodine Tubb Guyse, age 76, passed away Feb. 16, 2002, at Beverly Healthcare Center, Florence, Ala.Wylodine was born in Lauderdale County on Nov. 1, 1925, to her parents, Arville and Emma Tubb. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and of the Keen Age Sunday school class. Mrs. Guyse was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herman Guyse, and one sister, Juanita DeLoach.A funeral service for Mrs. Guyse will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, at Elkins Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. David Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence is assisting the family.Mrs. Guyse is survived by one son, Donnie Guyse of Florence, Ala.; one brother, Charles Tubbs of Roebuck, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.The family would like to thank St. James United Methodist Church, the Keen Age Sunday school class and a special thanks to the Rev. David Lee for his support and prayers..
