GARY HAAS 1942 - 2006 Passed away, suddenly at St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, September 3, 2006, at the age of 64 years. Gary leaves his best friend and wife of 41 years, Marilyn (nee Williamson). Lovingly remembered by his mother Marjorie Gosselin and her husband Mike, brothers Doug Haas and his wife Cheryl and Dennis Haas, mother and father-in-law Verna and Keith Beal, brother-in-law Terry Beal, sister-in-law Deborah Beal as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Ed Haas in 1972. Gary retired in 2004 from the Grand River Transit after 30 years of dedicated service. In retirement Gary especially enjoyed spending time at their boat at Long Point Beach. Friends were invited to share their memories of Gary with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and are invited to share their memories today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Gary's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, September 7, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Condolences for the family and donations to the St. Mary's Hospital Cardiac Care Centre or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre can be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com In living memory of Gary, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
