ALTON - Marie R. Collins, 77, of Route 14, died Sunday (June 9, 2002) at the House of John in Clifton Springs after an extended illness.
Burial will be in Alton Cemetery.
Marie was born Oct. 30, 1924, in the town of Huron, the daughter of Leonard and Jessie Grosz Lasher. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Collins, of Lyons; son, Lonnie (Sue) Collins of Alton; grandson, Thomas (Laurinda) Collins of Wolcott; granddaughter, Nikki (Eric) Smith, of Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett J. Collins, in 1993; two brothers, Melvin and Everett Lasher; and a sister, Iva Coe.
