Pecht - Lewis Wedding

Married Thursday, May 27th at 5 p. m. at the home of the bride, Miss Mae Ethel Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Lewis, to Mr. Jesse W. Pecht of Hardy, Rev M. D. Berg of this place officiating. Mrs. J.C. Gavin presided at the piano and Miss Bessie Lewis is acted as brides maid, while Earl Lewis was groomsman. The bride wore white net over white silk and the groom the usual black. About 25 guests, relatives and friends were present. After the ceremony and congratulations, a splendid three course supper was served, the table decorations being snow balls and roses.

The young couple left Tuesday for Seattle, Washington, and a visit to the groom's parents in Wyoming, after which they wiil (sic) take up their residence in Hardy, where Mr. Pecht holds a responsible position in the general merchandise store of J. G. Gavin. The Herald joins their many friends in well wishes and welcomes them to the home circle club of the village.

Following is the list of presents: Mr. and Mrs. John Spect, silver set; Mr. and Mrs. Shanehorn, tea spoons; Mr. and Mrs. L. U. Beal, tea spoons; Mr. and Mrs. Holmes, tea set; Miss Lucy Paul, sugar shell Mr. and Mrs. Osborn, berry dish; Miss Lena Holly, berry spoon; Rev. Berg and wife, olive dish; Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Gavin, water set and sherbert (sic) glasses; Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Pecht, bed spread; Mrs. D. Bertram, napkins; Delmer and Owa Pecht, cake plate; Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hanenkratt, doily.
