Michael A. Accetta, Age 85, of Mt. Lebanon, on Friday, May 14, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Eva (Gigliotti) Accetta; Loving father of Michael Accetta, Philip Accetta and the late Thomas Accetta; Brother of Rose Marie Wells, Josephine Anderson, Carmen Accetta and the late Francis Accetta, Theresa Gleichauf, Regina Branca, and Dominic Accetta; Grandfather of Anthony Accetta, Robin Riley, and Adrian Groth-Accetta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corps, 347th Service group serving in Hiroshima. He taught in the Catholic Diocese, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Mt. Lebanon School District, Duquesne University, and retired in 1981 as Superintendent of Chartiers Valley School District. He served on the Board of CCAC. He was an avid bridge player and dedicated his life to tutoring and educating others. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS, Friends welcome at 2630 West Liberty Avenue, 412-531-4000, on Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard Church. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions to North Catholic Development Fund, 1400 Troy Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
