Mollie Villalovos Griego. On Feb. 17, 2013, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many, left this Earth to be with our Lord. Mollie was born to Pedro and Laura Archuleta Villalovos in Red Wing, Colo., on Sept. 13, 1919. She married Joe Griego in Raton, N.M. She was employed by Woodside Seed Co. and as a housekeeper for many families in Rocky Ford, Colo., where she raised her family. She lived out the rest of her life in Pueblo, Colo. Music was the love of her life having taught herself to play a 12-string guitar. She knew no strangers and her sense of humor captured many friends. Survived by one daughter, Ellen (Lloyd) Lund, Tonica, Ill.; two sons, Bernard and Floyd Griego, Pueblo, Colo.; one brother, Gilbert (Norma), Walsenburg, Colo.; two sisters, Alberta Klement, Northglenn, Colo., and Angelina Bachicha, Security, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, son, four brothers, two sisters, one grandson and two great-grandsons. Cremation rites will be accorded with a memorial service at a later date. Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
