She was a Roman Catholic and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was an avid bridge player, and sports enthusiast.
Survivors include her daughters; Gayle Boyle Shaw and her husband Timothy of Alexandria, VA., Terry Boyle Kenyon and her husband Thomas of Laurel, MD., Mary Jo Boyle Whelan and her husband Bartholomew and Patricia Boyle Cote and her husband Roger all of Virginia Beach., her sons; Gary Stephen Boyle and his wife Sheryl of Valrico, FL.and Thomas Christopher Boyle of Virginia Beach.
She is also survived by six grandchildren; Ryan Boyle, Elizabeth Shaw and her husband Eric Ashton, Matthew Boyle, Daniel Whicker and his wife Crystal, Nathan Whelan, Joanna Whicker and one great grandson, "Teddy" Ashton-Shaw, her sister-in-law Kathleen Boyle Shepherd and Brother-in-law, Wilder William Feagans and many nieces and nephews and several friends.
The family would like to express their sincerest appreciation to the Staff of Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital, her physicians and their staff and her most recent companion aid, Niolani, whom all treated their mother as if she was their own.
Cecelia was comforted through her recent illness the looking forward to being reunited with her husband for eternity.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 31, 2012 in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church at 1:00 PM, by the Reverend Father Michael Gabler, O.S.B.. Interment will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the Laskin Road Chapel of H. D.
