On 6 Nov 1828, Sarah married her cousin John Newhouse in Fayette County, Indiana. After a few years the family moved to Harrison Twp, Delaware County, IN, where Sarah's husband John died in 1853.
Sarah remarried Carvender Conner on 10 May 1870 in Delaware County, a second marriage for both. Carvender died in Dec 1891, and Sarah died only a month later. Sarah is thought to be buried next to her first husband, John Newhouse, in Miller Cemetery.
