Edna M. Husted, 83, of 40 E. Main St., formerly of Jamestown and Bemus Point, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 18, 2001) in the Waters of Salamanca Nursing Home. She had been employed by the former Shoreline Restaurant in Bemus Point and at Midway Park during the summers. In earlier years, she was employed by Dresser Manufacturing Co. in Bradford. She was a former member of the Jolly Dozen Club and had attended the former Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church. She is survived by a daughter, Sue Ellen Woodfield of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a granddaughter, Patricia Ann Carlson of Randolph; a grandson, Robert R. Woodfield of Lakeland, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Husted, whom she married June 27, 1937, and who died Aug. 14, 1986; a granddaughter, Diane K. Woodfield; four brothers: Lee, Clarence, Doyle and Ralph Melzer; and three sisters: Gladys Ernst, Onie Freeman and Belle Burgress. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
