MRS. CLARA CROUCH ADAMS

Clara Crouch Adams, widow of William E. Adams, died at her home at Beaver Dam in Delaware Township, Pike County, at half-past nine Sunday night of general debility due to advanced years. She had been quite feeble for some months.

Deceased was born at Newcastle, England in May 1840, and came to this country (with her parents who settled in New York city) when 14 years of age. For the past 30 years, Mrs. Adams had lived at Beaver Dam and was a woman widely known and very much beloved by a large circle of friends. She was a devoted Christian and an actibe member of the Episcopal church.

The funeral was held from the Episcopal Chapel at Dingman's Ferry on Wednesday and interment was made in the family plot in the village cemetery.

Mrs. Adams is survived by three sons, William E. of New York, H. Walton of Beaver Dam and Arthur M. of Bushkill.
