OLEAN-Mrs. Loretta S. Bell of 302 E. Henley St., died Thursday (Jan. 1, 1998) at Sister's Hospital, Buffalo.
Born Sept. 15, 1920 in New Albion, she was a daughter of Ernest and Hattie Wolfe Felt. On July 5, 1952, in Napoli, she married Harold S. Bell Sr., who survives.
Mrs. Bell worked at Ka-Bar Cutlery before becoming a nurse and working at the Mountain Clinic, St. Francis Hospital, and Valley View Manor, from where she retired Oct. 31, 1992. She also worked as a private duty nurse in many homes throughout her nursing career.
Surviving besides her husband are seven sons, David (Debbie) Berg of Little Valley, Ronald (Linda) Berg of Allegany, Kenneth (Kathy) Roberts of Jamestown, Doug (Nancy) Roberts of Phoenix, Ariz., Harold (Marsha) Bell, Bob (Kathy) Bell, and Jack Bell, all of Olean; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie (Terry) Gibbons of Portville; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Felt and Orville Felt, both of Kennedy; a sister, Mrs. Verta Richter of Depew; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bell was predeceased by two brothers, Orlie Felt and Mike Felt.
Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery., Allegany.
