Rev. E.S. Bilberry, one of the pioneer citizens of West Texas, died at his home near Red Land, New Mexico.

Rev. Bilberry came to Texas in 1861 and settled in what is now Cooke County, Texas. Rev. Bilberry married Miss Susan A. Bilberry in Travis County in 1875 and into this union nine children were born, seven are still living.

He moved with his family to Stonewall County in 1897 where he blazed the trail of civilization in that section of Texas. He has four brothers living - Rev. J.V. Bilberry, L. M. Bilberry, H. H. Bilberry, L.W. Bilberry, a half-brother living in Spur
