Stanley Don Boner Sr., age 65 of Kerrville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 7, 1947 in Kermit, TX to Samuel Thomas Boner and Elsie Odessa (Elmore) Boner.
Stanley was a mechanic and enjoyed piddling with cars. He loved to fish and especially loved his grandchildren and family. He was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jane Boner.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Peggy Hauser of Kerrville; daughters, Rhonda Boner of Kerrville, Beverly Collum and husband, James of Kerrville, Lisa Pearson and husband, Buddy of Kermit, Juanita McGuff and husband, Ken of Denton, Melody Fernandez of Wink, Marsha Marier and husband, Tim of Douglassville, GA, and Chrystal Boner of Kerrville; sons, Stanley "Donnie" Boner, Jr. of Kermit, and Tommy Boner and wife, Sarah of Wink; sister, Phyllis Shropshire of Kermit; 25 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be Sunday, February 10, 2013, 2 PM at Turtle Creek Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Chris Christopherson.
