She was born Dec. 10, 1912, in Cody to Simon Snyder and Ora Pettys Snyder.
She married Warren Carpenter on June 22, 1935. On March 31, 1977, she married Lee Pinckard and was married for 27 years.
She had energy for life that few people possess and a positive attitude that uplifted and helped all those who knew her. She was a loving person and found great pleasure serving her family and friends. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, outdoor activities, going to the mountains, riding horseback, dancing, reading and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her husband Lee Pinckard, son Warren "Bud" Carpenter, grandchildren Echo Caldwell, Keely Brimmer, Simon and Jack Carpenter and great-grandchildren Justin and Brittany Rozek and Jaclyn, Jessica and James Caldwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Warren and brothers Donald and Jack Snyder.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1719 Wyoming Blvd. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
