DANDY - Joyce Walker Bailey, 74, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007. Joyce was a native of Warren Cliff, W.Va., and was a Dandy resident since 1962. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Lee Bailey; and a sister, Nancy Deaver.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Bailey of Gloucester and Clint Bailey and his wife, Tina, of Hampton; a daughter, Sherry Greshamer and her husband, David, of Newport News; three sisters, Norma Snead of Florence, S.C., and Brenda Andrews and Sandra Bowen, both of Danville. "Granny" is also survived by five grandchildren, Tonya Brandon, Lance, Cory and Tyler; and three great-grandchildren, Karah, Priscilla and Alana.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, in Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
