MR. NEWTON ALDERMAN DEAD.
Passed Away In Raleigh Thursday - Interment Near Atkinson, N. C.
Friends in this section of Eastern North Carolina, where he was well known and highly esteemed, will regret to learn of the death of Mr. Newton Alderman, which occurred at Raleigh Thursday in the 50th year of his age.
Mr. Alderman was born and reared in New Hanover county - in that portion which is now Pender, where he followed the occupation of farming successfully for several years. He married Miss Lola Robbins, daughter of Dr. A. Hamilton Robbins, of Brunswick county, who with five children survive him. He was a highly respected citizen, a kind husband and father, a sincere friend and faithful Christian. The, interment will take place at his native home near Atkinson.
