Mrs. Hattie L. Johnston, 84, of Highview Village, Clearfield, died Saturday, June 13, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
Born April 14, 1903, in Bells Landing, she was a daughter of Arthur and Delilah (Newcomer) Bell.
She was formerly employed by Kent Sportswear, Curwensville.
Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Bells Landing Baptist Church.
She is survived by these children, Mrs. Warren (Ethel Jane) Hartman and Mrs. Melvin M. (Bud) of Indiana and Preston V. of Grampain; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malvin M. Sr.; five sisters; three brothers; and one infant brother.
Services will be held at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. M. Bruce Dimmick and the Rev. Cora V. Ardary officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of service on Tuesday.
