He was a native of Belmont, son of the late Ralph S. and Meadie Hudspeth Lutz, grandfather of the late Aaron Lutz, retired Gunnery Sergeant from U.S. Marine Corps., served more than 20 years, formerly stationed in Jacksonville at Camp Lejeune, moved to Daytona Beach in 1970.
