PIEDMONT, OCTOBER 19:
Mrs. Earl Raney, of Tigerville, arrived the day after the burial of her brother, Mr. Dave Austin. Not knowing that he was sick, the news of his death was a great shock to her.
Large crowds are attending the services at the Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. E.C. Watson, of Laurens, and Mr. Fisher, of Canton, North Carolina.
Mr. Theodore Queen is in town.
