Sarah Elizabeth Dean Alexander, 82, of Lexington, died Friday at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore.
Born Dec. 4, 1922, in Perryville, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Audie Bugg Dean. She was the widow of Keith McNames Alexander. She was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Butch Alexander of Richmond; and three granddaughters.
She was proceeded in death by a son, Buddy Alexander.
