Frederick Sieber Dead
Died at the home of his son, George W. Sieber in Cherokee, Kansas, on Friday, June 18th, 1909, Frederick Sieber, aged 75 years.
Mr. Sieber was born in Edengopen, Germany, on March 5th, 1834, and came with his parents to Bushnell, Illinois, when only thirteen years old. He was married to Elizabeth Zoll and came to Cherokee in 1873 where he lived until his death. His wife and two sons survive him. His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sieber, and son, George W. live in Cherokee and the other son, Fred, lives at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Sieber was a quiet and industrious citizen and was held in high esteem by all that knew him.
Funeral services were held at the home on last Saturday conducted by Rev. Harmon Allen, pastor of the M.E. church and interment was made in the Cherokee cemetery.
