DAVENPORT - Services for Evelyn F. Link, Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.


Evelyn died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. She was self-employed as a seamstress and later worked at Davenport schools until 1981.


Evelyn F. Offerman was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Long Grove, Iowa, to Elmer and Edna (Dengler) Offerman. She married Clifford L. Link Sr. on June 17, 1939, in Davenport. He died in 1965. She was a member of Quad-City Times Plus 60 Club, the Liedertaufel Card Club, Putnam Museum, Friendly House, Widows Club and Nifty Fifties. Memorials may be made to Newcomb Presbyterian Church.


Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Kandarian, and her husband, Mike, San Jose, Calif.; a son, Clifford Link Jr., Kalamazoo, Mich.; a sister, Jeanne Hissem, Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, LeRoy Offerman, Davenport; and a special friend, Ralph Nagel, Davenport.


She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Robert Offerman; and sisters, Lillian Schmidt and Marie Richter.
