Joshua Handler, 72 years old of 555 South Park Street, a butcher at the Food Fair Market, 1122 Elizabeth avenue, died yesterday afternoon at Alexian Brothers Hospital following an illness of a week.
Born in Russia, he came to this country sixty years ago and lived in Elizabeth forty years. He had been employed at the market for seven years. he was a member of the Holche Yosher Congregation, The Jewish Educational Center.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were this morning at the Goldstaker Funeral Home, 17 Clinton Place, Newark.
