Mary "Anne" Daniel Christian was born March 26, 1935 and died peacefully on February 5, 2013. She was born in Dallas to parents Lee Roy Daniel and Bertha Kathryn Jensen Daniel and was lifelong resident of Dallas County. Anne is now at peace with God. She retired as a bookkeeper and was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 2494 in Irving. Anne enjoyed her pets, Molly and Sassy, her daily puzzles, reading and times with family and friends. She is survived by daughter, Lynda Hobbs, daughter Margaret Hobbs and fiance Bill King, grandson, Roger Hinkle and loved-ones, Leslie Russell, James Earl and Patricia Hobbs, Carolyn Hobbs, Jennifer Hobbs and Ben Hobbs. Honorary Pall Bearers are the VFW Post 2494 and its Auxiliaries. Visitation will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home Thursday February 7, 2013 from 6-8:00 PM. Graveside service will be 11:30 AM Friday February 8, 2013 at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
