Thomas Weirich, 55, of Fulton, died Monday, April 25, 2005, at the Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton.
Thomas was born August 27, 1949, the son of the late Thomas Wayne and Kathryn M. Weirich. On August 25, 1984, he married Christine Ellis. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, other survivors include his mother, Marion Weirich of Chicago, a son, Theodore Weirich of Antioch, Illinois, three brothers, Donald Weirich of Gold Canyon, Arizona, William Weirich of Bakersfield, California and Robert Weirich Jr. of Lake Villa, Illinois, three sisters, Susan (Weirich) Frambes of Waukegan, Illinois, Debra (Weirich) Landers of Round Lake Beach, Illinois and Peggy (Weirich) Ferch of Ingleside, Illinois, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Weirich served his country in the Navy from 1967 until 1977. He recieved the Good Conduct Award, National Defence Service Medal and the Meritorius Unit Commendation.
He worked as an electronic technician for GE Medical Services.
Memorial services are at 3:00pm, Saturday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
