Elouise Northern Ayo, An employee of the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, she died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at 1:30 a.m. at Woman's Hospital. She was 53 and a resident and native of Port Allen.

Visiting at New Sunrise Baptist Church, religious service, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Phillip Joseph. Interment in Mulatto Bend Cemetery, Port Allen.

Survived by her husband, Lindsay Ayo III; stepson, Kim Ayo; two stepgrandsons, Jarman and Evan Ayo; seven sisters, Francis and Carol Northern, Linda Dunbar, Mayola Alexander, Ernestine Eubanks, Rosemary Theriot and Annette Henderson; brother, Cal Northern; mother-in-law, Ellen C. Ayo; and two grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her mother, Mayola Campbell Northern; and father, Ernest Northern Sr.

She was a graduate of Port Allen High School and Spencer Business College. Arrangements by Hall Davis & Son Funeral Service.
