Charlie Alfred Crow was my grandfather. He hitch-hike to the Crow community of Hill Co.,TX, near Whitney & Hillsboro, in the late 1890's, from the Mill Creek area near Rocky Face, Whitfield Co., GA. This was shortly after his father, Alfred Milton Crow, and grandfather, Johnathan Wilson Crow, had died in 1894/1895, Whitfield Co. GA.
Grandfather Charlie met my grandmother, Mary Isabelle Fulbright, and married her in 1899. Mary I. Fulbright Crow Davenport was the sister of Lucy Jane Fulbright Beggs(1873-1936), that is buried with her husband, John Henry Beggs (1866-1945), at Sowers Cemetery. Mary Fulbright Crow Davenport (1883-1954) is buried Ivy Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Ventura CA.
