Musician and Composer. Considered a child prodigy, he learned to play the violin and the piano at the age of 5 years and wrote his first composition for piano, entitled "Autumn", just a year later. Graduated in 1939 from the School directed by Peter Stolyarsky and with a doctorate in composition obtained from the Moscow Conservatory, Feltsman composed several works for the Moscow Philharmonic and the Alexandrinsky Theatre of Leningrad during his enforced stay in Novosibirsk because of the World War II. In 1945 he returned to Moscow and from then on his musical production became more prolific and unceasing also because had the collaboration of famous poets including Andrei Voznesensky and Vladimir Kharitonov. His best-known works include songs and operettas such as "Tëtka Charleya", "Staryye doma", "Pust gitara igrayet", "Tsikl romansov stikhi Mariny Tsvetayevoy na", "na Tsikl pesen stikhi Khaima Byalika", "" Chernoye more, Moye ... "," Staryy Dyuma "and" "Belyy svet". During his long career he has received numerous prestigious honors including three "Orden Za zaslugi Otechestvom pered," the "Orden Druzhby", "Narodnyy Rossijskaja Sovetskaja Federativnaja Socialistièeskaja Respublika artist" and "Narodnyy Dagestanskoy Armenian Sovetskaja Socialistièeskaja Respublika artist".
