William Henry Acker, 69, formerly of Newport, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Liverpool.
He was a member of the East Newport Church of God.
He is survived by two sons, Willard E. H. of Highspire and Luther W. of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Stella Flickinger, of Newport, and three grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday with the Rev. James Strawser officiating. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.
