JOHN PATRICK EMBERTON, 24, of Hoxie died Sunday, Sept. 25, in a car accident near Sedgwick. He was an information technician at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and a member of First Assembly of God in Walnut Ridge. His wife, Emily Grace Forbis Emberton, also died in the accident. Survivors include his parents, John and Pat Emberton of West Memphis; a brother, Matthew Emberton of West Memphis; his maternal grandmother, Betty Kelley of Earle; and his paternal grandmother, Billie Jean Emberton of Delano, Ga. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God in West Memphis. Burial will be in Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home of West Memphis is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
