Alice M. Rochford 1928 ~ 2013
Alice M. (Crowley) Rochford, of Wilmington and formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully on January 30, 2013, in Burlington. She was 84 years of age.

Alice was raised and educated in Dorchester before moving to Charlestown where she raised her children.
Alice moved with her daughter and family to Wilmington 23 years ago. Alice was very involved in the Wilmington Senior Center for over 20 years, she was active in the area's Meals on Wheels program. She also volunteered at the Knight of Columus hall. Alice's volunteer activities was an expression of her deep caring for others.
For pleasure, Alice was an avid gardener with a fondness for roses. She also cared for animals and enjoyed spending time with them.
At the time of her death, Alice was grandmother to 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services were held on February 2, 2013, in Wilmington, followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
