He was born to Calvin and Jennie Lee Blackburn Clem.
Mr. Clem was an iron worker and was retired from Standard Industrial Structures and Global Structures. He was a member of the Porter Street Baptist Church in Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Clem.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite Barlow Clem of Grapeland, daughter Susan Wiley and husband Jim of Houston, sons Darrell Ray Hammond and wife Heather and Cris Morgan and wife Josie all of Grapeland, a brother, Larry Clem of Houston; seven grandchildren, Lacy Hammond, Nick Collins, Alexis Collins, C. J. Morgan, Ally Morgan Christopher Gouras and Nick Wiley.
