Suggested edit: Based on a deposition, George Blake was likely born in 1611.
The 1617 baptism in Somerset seems to frequently appear in trees. I could not find a record of it in Somerset. There was one matching the date in Coaley, Gloucestershire for George son of Richard, but as its quite a bit off from the deposition information, its probably for a different George. The most reliable information on George still seems to indicate that his birthplace and parents are unknown.
