A Medicine Lodge resident for most of his life, having lived at Warren, Texas for 13 years, he was a ranch hand. He belonged to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Warren, Texas. He married Grace Knight at Beaumont, Texas. She died in 1989. Survivors include: a brother, E. Gwynne Adams.
